About Our Plumbing & Heating Company
Waldman Plumbing is one of the oldest plumbing and heating service companies on the North Shore. We have been serving customers for over 100 years and are now on our 4th generation. We are proud to say that we have become known for our personal and prompt service.
One century ago, Jacob Waldman, newly-arrived in the United States, started Waldman Plumbing and Heating. He rode his two-wheel bicycle, carrying his bag of tools, from job to job. Over the years, his son Phil followed him into the business, as did Jacob’s grandson Mike and great-grandson Jeff. Today Mike and Jeff Waldman are the heart of Waldman Plumbing and Heating, serving residents and businesses North of Boston and beyond.
Located in Lynn, Waldman serves a diverse clientele within a 20-mile radius.
“We perform both residential and commercial plumbing and heating,” Mike states, “and although we are known mostly as a service-oriented company, we have expanded over the years into renovation work and heating system installations. We specialize in radiant heat, snowmelt systems and high efficiency heating and hot water systems.”
Jeff adds that they have helped their customers save money with more cost-efficient heating systems. “Not only do our customers save on fuel bills, but they also are helping the environment,” he said. Recently, he explained, Waldman replaced a boiler operating at 70 percent efficiency with one running at 95 percent efficiency, the industry’s highest rating. “Our goal is to give our clients the newest and best equipment and make them ecstatic that they used us.”
“Customer service – both before and after the sale – is the heart of our business,” Mike states. “We are proud to say our technicians are thoroughly screened, trained and insured. We want our customers to feel safe and comfortable to have our people in their homes.”
He notes some words to live by from four generations of Waldmans:

Jeff explained, “This annual contract provides an annual inspection, discounts on all work and guaranteed preferential service. The USA program is very popular and assures that service will be available whenever it is needed.”

As a member of the Quality Service Contractors (QSC) and the Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC), we’re part of the largest membership associations in our field. Their networking opportunities and educational resources means we’re always up to date on the latest plumbing and customer service techniques.
As a member of both the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce and the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce we’re proud members of our local business community and are active in improving the lives of its citizens.
