Heater Inspection Is a Waste of Time at this London Skyscraper
In the middle of winter, few things are worse than when your heater stops working. A heater inspection in Lynnfield from us at Waldman Plumbing should be on your to-do list every fall when colder temperatures start to come around. However, there are some buildings that can go without an inspection this winter, a London skyscraper being one of them.
Melting Cars and Frying Eggs
In London, there is a skyscraper currently under construction that is wreaking havoc on nearby stores and vehicles. The curved shape of the building in progress reflects sunlight to areas down beneath the structure at temperatures as high as 158 degrees. A reporter recently visited the site, fried an egg on the sidewalk, and then ate it for lunch.
Being able to fry an egg on the sidewalk is one of the more positive side-effects of the flawed architecture of this building. An individual parked their car in the middle of the building’s heat and came back to their car only to find that the panels on their vehicle had melted in broad daylight. A barbershop across the street from the skyscraper also reported that the light reflecting off the building had started the carpet of their business on fire.
Get Your Heater Inspected this Winter
This winter, your heater probably won’t be able to help you cook dinner and it hopefully won’t catch the carpet of your home on fire either. Receiving a heater inspection before colder temperatures hit will ensure that your home is warm and cozy all winter. At Waldman Plumbing, we will ensure that your heater is working properly and efficiently with our inspection and heater repair services. Give us a call at 781-780-3184.
